A BIT ABOUT ME

Bethany Georges arrived to her adulthood in the sunny beach town of Kailua, Hawai’i and has lived there for the past 10 years. She first picked up a paint brush in 2005, but has been drawing all of her life as a way to express the feelings she couldn’t describe with words.

She was self taught until in 2011 she began taking multiple art courses through the UH program at Windward Community College, where she fell further in love with the creative process and was enrolled in Color Theory, 2D Design, Oil Painting, Figure Modeling, Screen Printing all multiple times.

She also grew up with many animal friends, and they are sometimes featured in her work, as well as other locally seen birds and critters.

She has collaborated with many local businesses for custom illustration work, including Ala Moana, Pearlridge, and the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Centers, as well as stores located within Kailua Shopping Center, The Lauren Roth Boutique and the Ka Makana Ali’i Shopping Center. She most recently finished a two story mural for the Aloha Beer Co. in Kakaako. 

Currently she is taking orders for pet portraits, murals, and custom work while she works on her tattoo apprenticeship.
